Lewis Porter, MD

Dr. Porter received his doctorate of medicine from Howard University in Washington, D.C., and his general surgery training from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He is board certified in general surgery and is a fellow with the American College of Surgeons. He has been with Saline Health System for 15 years. He launched the hospital's bariatric program and has served as chief of surgery. He is currently director of trauma services and a member of the hospital's advisory board. He is also a fellow with the American College of Surgeons.
